Top Places to Play Indoors in Austin: (in no particular order) ![]() Will have to come back to try the non-bowling attractions. On days when Mother Nature keeps us from visiting the local playground, we’ve still got some great options for taking our little folks out to work off all that energy. Lots of different beers on tap as well as wines and other alcohol. The food that we ordered and brought to our lanes was good - everything from beef sliders to flatbreads and more. They charge by the hour for unlimited play (6 to a lane is probably the max you'd want to go), and then bowling shoe rental is $4 + tax per pair. I also noticed an enclosed room where a meeting with catered food was being held. There are also supposed to be VIP lanes that you may reserve for private parties with catering. Sometimes it will even display some fun retorts - like 'Better luck next time!' - in fun jest when you don't pick up the pins to make a spare, etc. Your bowling is electronically managed and scored. The lanes are equipped with flashing and neon lights, and there is a bank of large TV screens set-back as you get close to the pins - March Madness games were on display the evening we were there. I did not even get to see their ropes course, rock-climbiing wall, nor bumper cars on this visit. When you first enter, you'll pass their sit-down restaurant on the left and their games arcade on the right. Located just W of the Tollway and just N of the Parr Library branch (unless you are coming south on the Dallas Parkway service road, the easiest way is to just go W on Windhaven and turn right at the next street Communications Parkway), this is a nice, modern bowling place with so much more.
