Epic definition in scrum10/31/2023 In my BA role, I had a piece of the product owner role as well. It’s so easy to throw out what has helped us in the past when learning a new process.Īnmol, In my situation the Product Owner also called the shots about what epics and user stories needed to exist. > Learn More About Agile RequirementsĬheck out Use Cases and Wireframes – our virtual, instructor supported, professional credit course, where you’ll learn how to iteratively analyze and model functional requirements, and break apart use cases into user stories.Ĭlick here to learn more about Use Cases and Wireframes It’s more agile than traditional approaches in that we’re not scoping a huge project and then diving in. ![]() The difference is it defines the scope around one feature (not an entire project) and, although you might need to succumb t small margins and minimal formatting, you can fit the information onto a single page. Without this section, otherwise out-of-scope items might creep into your product backlog and divert your team’s focus from delivering on the value proposition.Īll of the above looks a lot like a typical requirements document. ![]() And it can help keep your team on track in terms of delivering what absolutely is needed to create value. Especially if you come from a traditional background, it’s difficult to resist including this beloved section for what you’re not doing. More of the above, but these will result in lower priority or non-existent product backlog items. A list of things you’ve assumed to be true that were validated (or invalidated in some cases) by the business stakeholders. If your feature supports more than one business process scenario, this is a good section to include. Folio apartments reviews10/31/2023 ![]() I would expect an email even more time is needed for processing but again, nothing. My tenancy ended on 31 May and today is 4 July, and I am still waiting for news from Folio on my deposit! I heard nothing from them, sent numerous emails and got no reply! I read again on my tenancy agreement and it mentioned the deposit should be returned within 20 days of tenancy end date. There is a tenant who created so many problems to all of the neighbours but Folio has done nothing about it even there has been continuous complaints submitted. I could sense the executives had done their best and I intend to believe this is more of a problem of the company management. I have gone through 4 different account managers/ executives and most of the time I was informed by my neighbour instead of the company itself. I rented a flat in Ealing for around 14 months. Loads of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from.I am a bit surprised to see the high ratings here and I start to think if it is only me having such a horrible experience. Every month we were having to drive to each location to collect rent checks. We took a bus to Chania for €1.80 (single) and walked around the Old Town and front. We have 6 apartment buildings that we manage. We went out most days and came back for a bit of pool side R&R and our only frustration was that there were sometimes no sunbeds left.□ Miles of beaches to choose from East and West, altho this time of the year they were busy but worth it when you get in the sea. There is a pool side bar open all day till around 1am and altho our room was close to the bar, there was no noise filtering to the rooms. The pool area is lovely, small pool but clean and really well maintained, as are the sunbeds. Folia is on a hill so not suitable for everyone but worth the short daily walk. Maker of stringed instruments crossword10/31/2023 ![]() The harp, even one string, just sounds beautiful on its own, just, like, plucked in a gentle way. Mary Lattimore I mean, I use a lot of them, but to make a lovely melody, you don’t have to use very many of these strings. Lulu Smyth Yeah, I was going to say, like, how many of those 47 strings are you sort of using? I feel like the cool thing is that, you know, people think that it’s very complicated to learn it but to me, the cool thing is that you can make it sound beautiful just by playing, like three strings. And, you know, you use, you don’t use your pinky fingers, you use eight fingers to play and you kind of hold your elbows up and you lean it back on your shoulder. I kind of wheel it around on a little cart, on a little trolley. Yeah, it’s a concert grand metal harp that I play. Mary Lattimore Yeah, it’s, there are 47 strings on the one that I play, which is like the biggest one. So to introduce you to our listeners, can you just tell us what it’s like playing the harp? It seems like this huge, unwieldy thing. I’m Lulu Smyth, in for Lilah Raptopoulos. So I’ve invited her on the show to share some of her music and to talk us through how she became a harp-playing indie musician. Lulu Smyth Right now, Mary’s on tour for her newest solo album, Goodbye, Hotel Arkada, which comes out today. You know what I’m saying? I mean, I’m sure that there was like some melody that felt like it was really connected to the sky, raining down ashes. Mary Lattimore I can’t remember exactly what I did, but I know that it must have collected some kind of sounds that felt like for that day only. And those loops are almost like musical snowflakes. ![]() When she’s playing, she’s going through repeating loops which are like variations on the same melody over and over. Lulu Smyth That’s Mary talking to me recently from her home in Los Angeles. ![]() It was so interesting and so fun, but also so dark. Mary Lattimore It was so hot and ashes were raining down and playing this ancient wooden instrument for these amazing people that were just like enduring the heat and the fires. And there were these huge wildfires happening nearby. I actually once saw Mary at a concert in Athens in Greece. She’s toured with the pop duo Beach House, and she’s recorded with singer songwriters like Kurt Vile and Thurston Moore. And playing this huge ancient instrument in a modern setting is kind of her jam. I even know the musician that’s on the harp here is named Mary Lattimore. Lulu Smyth If you really tune in and listen closely, you can hear the melodic strumming. Like, listen to the song ‘Shadow’ by Kesha. What instrument you’re probably not thinking of is the harp, but it’s there more often than you might think. You’re probably imagining guitars, drums, maybe a keyboard. Lulu Smyth Think about a back-up band for a modern pop musician. Google sketchup pro 8 reviews10/30/2023 ![]() ![]() And the fact that it’s still completely free doesn’t do it any harm either. SketchUp has always offered exceptional 3D creativity and version 8’s deeper and wider integration with Google’s online technologies – Earth/Maps, Street View, 3D Warehouse and now Building Maker – make it more powerful than ever. However, SketchUp 8 Pro and LayOut 3 add little to previous releases and raise questions about Google’s commitment to SketchUp’s original user-base and those new users who want to move beyond geo-modelling.įor the average user, however, there’s little to complain about. Google SketchUp & SketchUp Pro Bible will target design professionals who are increasingly turning to SketchUp and SketchUp Pro to easily create professional quality designs and design presentations. The ability to export LayOut 3 drawings to the DXF/DWG format for ongoing workflows is more useful and, along with the new solid tools, is just about enough to justify the upgrade price (US$95). 4.95 - 41.73 Other new and used from 1.18. Disappointingly, Style Builder is unchanged and the new editing capabilities in LayOut 3, such as support for precision moving, angular dimensions and customisable dashed line styles, fall into the tweaks category. SketchUp Pro also includes two important support applications for handling presentation: Style Builder, where you control the hand-drawn styles that helped give the program its name and LayOut, where you can place, orientate and annotate your models to produce advanced 2D plans and drawings. It’s also worth pointing out that users of the free version can achieve the same results if they can to get to grips with the existing Intersect with Model command. Such subtractive and additive modelling can certainly make life easier, but SketchUp’s system only works with groups and components with no holes and no overlaps. ![]() Pro takes further advantage of the program’s volumetric handling to offer five new tools – Union, Intersect, Subtract, Trim and Split – for creatively combining solid objects. Support has been further extended in this latest release to include the popular DWG/DXF 2010 format. The main advantage of the commercial release is that it goes beyond bitmap and KMZ/DAE output to offer a much wider range of 2D and 3D export options such as EPS, PDF, 3DS, OBJ and FBX. That’s about it for the free Google SketchUp, but users wanting more power can turn to Google SketchUp 8 Pro (US$495).
